I purchased this toy for my Great Grandson for his 1st birthday. He loves playing with the toy and loves the music. It's a great learning toy. -- Great Fun

My child loves this toy. She got it on her 1st birthday, and has played with it everyday for the past 5 months. She can play with it for extended periods of time, and over time she has become really good at placing the puzzle pieces, matching the animals, and she even experiments with what surfaces the magnets might stick to. The toy offers lots of learning and exploring options for such a small and simple toy. My only issues with the toy are on the practical side- the pieces end up all over the kitchen floor everyday, multiple times a day if I bother to clean them up before bedtime. Also, on a tile or wood floor, the pieces can be a slipping and falling hazard if you happen to step on one. So, the clean-up is constant for safety reasons. Plus, I have wood floors in the kitchen, and there are noticable dents in the wood from where the toy has been dropped, banged, thrown, etc. Not a huge deal. But other than that, this toy is one of our favorites. Inexpensive, doesn't take up a lot of room, not annoying to (these) parents, educational and helps fine motor skills and problem solving skills develop. -- Baby loves it, with a few practical problems

We bought this for our son when he was around 6 months old, and he has been able to do more and more with it. It's a great toy to show matching, has some catchy songs, and it's not too annoying to listen to. Our 5 yr old son likes playing with it as well. Good baby toy for a gift. -- A great refrigerator toy

My son played with this toy, only few times. He doesn't seem interested in it at all. Very dissapointed! -- Not as entertaining as I hoped!

I'm really tired of electronic toys due to their annoying loud voices and money wasting batteries; however, we received this as a gift for my daughter when she was about 9 months. (FYI we are still on the same batteries it came with 9 months later and it does come with an on/off switch.) SHe couldn't put the pieces in by herself at that time, but she loved pushing the buttons. Now that she is 18months she can put the pieces in and usually can match the right pieces together. This barn secures well to your fridge via magnets and the puzzle pieces are magnetic too. When you put a puzzle piece on, it will describe the animal, such as "blue sheep." My 3 year old also plays with it occasionally (I think because of the fun music).

I really like this toy for 3 reasons:
1)The shape of the pieces are only a slight challenge to put in.
2)When the child puts 2 different animals together it doesn't tell the child they made a mistake. It will say something like, "A horse-duck...that's silly" and then goes into a song about a horse-duck. When the child does get a match it praised them with a "you made a match song"
3) The music is fun and I don't find it annoying like so many electronic toys.

I'd highly recommend this toy for a child 12 to 20 months, but I think children would play with well beyond that.
