This is a wonderful book for ages 7 and up. I would say any younger it would be a little difficult unless you have a child who is advanced in reading. But if you have a younger child you can let the leap pad tell the story. My daughter loves this book because she is a Dorothy fan. This book is like Baums original Wizard of Oz book with silver shoes not ruby slippers. It is a great reading tool for new readers who are just beyond the Dr. Suess level. The sounds are great too!!
